We are seeking an experienced sales professional to assume the role of VP, Sales & Business Development to join our growing team.


Your Mandate:


You will be a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting to the CEO, and be responsible for sales strategy and execution to deliver results. You will be a player-coach, an active member of the sales team driving revenues for our eXactpark smart parking product line, as well as building and managing a high-performance sales team. In addition, you will be responsible for managing relationships with key strategic accounts and partnerships to expand sales into new territories and markets. You are resourceful, flexible, reliable, and entrepreneurial. You enjoy challenges, while working closely with customers and the eleven-x team, in a fast-paced environment.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead global sales growth for eXactpark, the eleven-x parking solution
  • Overall responsibility for sales strategy, planning, forecasting, execution and reporting
  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement, while building an inclusive, high-performing culture
  • Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Create and manage annual sales budget
  • Define optimal sales force and channel structure and then make it happen
  • Hire and develop sales staff
  • Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top sales people want to join
  • Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Manage customer expectations while driving a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes, and identify, and implement improvements where and when required
  • Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, and meet or exceed the forecast
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions, and drive insights for further accelerating our growth
  • Manage key customer relationships and lead closure of strategic opportunities
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs

  • Excels at selling intangible solutions into the B2B market
  • Ability to analyze, establish and execute presales strategy
  • Excellent opportunity qualification and negotiation skills
  • Proficient at Relationship Selling
  • Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers
  • Ability to elicit needs from key decision makers
  • Skilled at providing market recommendations and customer feedback to the executive team
  • Ability to manage, optimize and identify opportunities with partners, members, process enhancement and program growth
  • Skilled at planning (strategic sales plan), managing, and delivering on company’s revenue forecast; including accurately forecasting future sales volumes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related major required and/or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in progressively senior sales roles
  • Demonstrated track record for building and developing teams, with proven ability to coach and mentor sales reps to higher performance
  • Successful career closing significant deals and partnerships
  • Previous experience working in the parking technology industry
  • Previous experience selling into the U.S. municipal market
  • Previous experience building effective sales channels

Job Status: Full time opportunity with base and variable compensation package, as well as stock options

Location: Blended office model: home-office, travel & occasional work at headquarters; home-office location to be based in Canada or United States.
